Sliding Mitre Saw Double Bevel - 305mm
This Rutlands® sliding mitre saw features double bevel cutting capability, from 0° to 48° left and right. Equipped with a 305mm 60 tooth TCT blade and 2000W motor, the saw will power through hardwoods, softwoods and composites with ease, leaving a clean, feather free finish. The forward-facing twin sliding rails allow the saw to sit flush up against a wall, sitting comfortably on workbenches from 760mm deep.
The 2000W direct drive motor features soft start and electronic speed control, maintaining constant speed under load for smooth, consistent sawing. The saw provides a generous 340mm x 90mm maximum cutting capacity when straight cutting, 235mm x 90mm for 45° mitres, 340mm x 38mm for 45° bevels to the left and 235mm x 38mm for compound mitre cutting at 45° left x 45°. The depth of cut is set with an easy to use fine adjustment screw, allowing for trench, groove and rebate cutting. An LED shadow line indicator casts a shadow of the blade kerf onto the workpiece, for precise workpiece alignment with no calibration required. Directly behind the blade is a 37mm dust port for coupling to a shop vacuum or to the dust collection bag.
The robust cast aluminium turntable provides mitre angles of up to 52° left and 55° right, with positive detents quickly locking the saw in place at the most common angles of 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45°. The bevel angle adjusts through a 0° to 48° range left and right, with positive stops at 45° and 0°.
The large CNC machined dual sliding fences provide excellent support for tall workpieces such as skirting boards or cornices, and feature integrated scales, reducing the need to measure and mark. Once set, the quick-action clamp deploys in seconds on the left or right hand side of the table to securely lock down the workpiece. Both left and right tables can be extended to provide up to 1160mm of workpiece support and feature flip stops for quick, repeatable cuts. ©
