Carbide Rotary Carving Burrs - 6.35mm Shank - Set of 4
These Rutlands® carbide rotary carving burrs combine ultra-fast material removal rates with a high quality surface finish. Easy to control, whether carving with or against the grain, these burrs provide an incredibly smooth and balanced cutting action, ideal for both fine detail work and initial shaping.
Tungsten carbide teeth ensure long lasting durability and the open spacing pattern makes these burrs highly resistant to loading, able to tackle wet or gummy material with minimal clogging. Easily cleaned, material can be removed using a soft wire brush or a few light passes of a gas torch. These versatile burrs are suitable for all manner of installation or repair tasks, not just wood carving, and will easily shape, notch or flatten a wide variety of materials including fiberglass, foam, rubber, plastic, drywall, composites and soft stone.
This set of 4 contains a sphere (25mm), flame (19mm x 32mm), small ball nose (12.7mm x 32mm) and large ball nose (22.2mm x 32mm) burr. Supplied on a 6.35mm shank, these burrs are for use with rotary tools with a 6.35mm collet or an adjustable chuck. Recommended speed range is 15,000 - 30,000rpm. ©
