150mm Net Abrasive Discs - Ceramic - Mixed Pack of 50

150mm Net Abrasive Discs
These net abrasive discs have been developed to maximise dust extraction, providing dust-free sanding when used with random orbital sanders and a connected dust extractor. Where safety and efficiency are paramount, these net abrasives will reduce exposure to the most dangerous, harmful sanding dust or toxic paint residues. The discs are suitable for use on a range of materials from hard, soft and exotic woods to primers, paints and lacquers, composites, steel (mild steel/carbon steel) and non-ferrous metals.

Fast-Cutting Ceramic Abrasive
Lasting six times longer than conventional abrasive discs, the ceramic aluminium oxide abrasive constantly renews its cutting edges by fragmenting during use. These highly durable self-renewing edges do not dull before they fragment, delivering excellent material removal rates on the toughest hardwoods, primers, painted surfaces and solid surface materials. The polyester fibre net backing is coated in a ‘semi-open’ manner, with only the topmost fibres of the net coated with grit. The inner structure and the back of the net remain free of grit, allowing maximum dust removal rates and a dust-free work environment.

Non-Stick Coating
A special stearate coating acts as a dry lubricant, providing non-stick properties to both prevent adhesion and clogging, and to reduce friction between the abrasive disc and work surface. This reduced friction leads to lower heat generation and a better, more regular overall finish throughout the life of the abrasive. As less is heat generated, the dust is also less electrostatically charged, making it looser and more easily removable by dust extractors. With no dust accumulating between the abrasive grains, you can expect more even finishes and less scratches on softer, more delicate surfaces.

Supplied as a mixed pack of 50 containing 80, 120, 180, 240 and 320 grits, these sanding discs are ideal for initial coarse sanding right up to finishing, and all discs have hook and loop type fastening and can be attached and re-attached as many times as necessary. ©
